We were in his restaurant when the chef, called BUGA by friends, served duck pâté with a sauce of chili, lingonberries and pears, followed by venison loin steakss with a spicy cranberry sauce. The taste was exquisite and we wandered why these sauces are not available for sale yet. After giving it a brief thought, BUGA replied: „Why not? Good taste brings people together“ and the decision to share our collection of unique BUGA‘s sauces was made.
We started out by assembling a team of professionals for the challenges to come. To the delight of us and our fans very soon the first jars of BUGA‘s sauces arrived on the supermarket shelves. News of the novelty product spread quickly and positive feedback encouraged us to expand both our product family and sales geography. Consumers welcomed unique and unexpected tastes composed of wildberries, fruits and natural hot and sweet paprika from the fertile Danube valley. Motivated by the success we continued to work on new tastes until the time for a new ambitious goal was right – to offer our products to distant markets. Since then we are both excited and driven to go forward by positive feedback from far away countries.
Looking back at how BUGA‘s started out and the challenges that had to be overcome we now appreciate that those challenges are the taste of life.
